Jacqueline G. De Castro, MD, is an exceptional primary care physician with aesthetic expertise who’s been practicing medicine for more than 30 years. She treats patients at De Castro and Basit, MDs, with an office conveniently located in Hanford, California.
Dr. De Castro graduated cum laude from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. She successfully completed residency training at Veterans Memorial before practicing as an OB/GYN physician for the next eight years.
She eventually decided to relocate to the United States and completed an internship at Loma Linda University Hospital in Loma Linda, California, and a residency at Adventist Health’s Hanford Family Medicine Residency Program in Hanford, California, where she served as the program’s first chief resident. She is currently certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is fluent in English, Tagalog, and Ilocano.
Dr. De Castro is passionate about connecting with her patients and shepherding them to good health. In her spare time, she enjoys cross-stitch, gardening, cooking, watching movies, and spending time with her husband and their two sons.
